*From September 2017 this funded entitlement may be extended to 30 hours for three and four year olds whose parents meet the qualifying conditions and can obtain the necessary approval via the Childcare Service.
Funding for two year olds in certain circumstances is also available and our staff would be happy to explain the rules to you in this respect. We claim the Funded Early Education Entitlement for you. All you need to do is provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate and complete a simple form in order for us to make your claim. For the extended entitlement our staff would also be happy to explain the qualifying conditions and advise on the application procedure.
The parameters of the funded entitlement are set out in the Department for Education Code of Practice. Some of the main parameters are:
Sessions should be between a minimum of two-and-a-half hours and a maximum of 10 hours in one full day
The funded hours can be used over at least three days (if the maximum 15 hours are taken);
Children qualify for the funded hours over a period of no fewer than 38 weeks per year (this means that the funded hours are available during school term-time only); And the hours can be shared between a maximum of two childcare providers.
This funding is designed to encourage parents to bring their children to nursery for as much time as possible. These are crucial years in your child’s education as firm foundations laid at this stage will pay dividends when your child starts school. At Buttons Daycare Nursery we aim to be as flexible as possible in delivering these hours. Contact us at the nursery to discuss your needs.

Fees are subject to review from time to time. They are calculated on an annual basis. It should be noted that fees are still payable if a child is absent through sickness and for both personal and public holidays although the manager may exercise discretion in this respect in exceptional circumstances.
Fees include all meals and snacks.
For guidance our daily hours are from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, morning session from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm and afternoon session from 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm
A minimum of two sessions per week applies and payment by standing order, cash or voucher is required monthly in advance. Four weeks notice is required on leaving the nursery or payment in lieu.
